How We Contribute to the Community
Community Advisory Council
The Hatchery’s Community Advisory Council was designed to enable West Side residents to provide input to The Hatchery team over time, and ensure a continuous line of communication between The Hatchery and our neighbors.
The Council, which includes leaders from groups that represent all of the involved West Side neighborhoods - Garfield Park, West Humboldt Park, North Lawndale, and Austin - meets quarterly with The Hatchery team to share ideas and progress. In addition, The Hatchery team will conduct open community meetings at least once each quarter to continue to learn how to serve the community better.
