Her clients are primarily engaged in the food & beverage industry as well as the service industry, including technology companies, consulting firms, and restaurants. She specializes in both closely held family business as well as PEG owned portfolio companies and has assisted many clients through buy and sell side transactions. She helps clients manage federal and state tax compliance by actively communicating necessary information and deadlines with management. Her focus is on mitigating tax liability by identifying opportunities such as research and development credits, reviewing accounting methods, expediting expenses and other tax incentives.
Kayla Koenig is a Tax Manager at Plante Moran. Kayla has seven years of experience in mid-market public accounting working with clients in the manufacturing and distribution industry, including food and food packaging manufacturing and distribution and the real estate industry.
