Natalie Shmulik is The Hatchery’s Chief Strategy and Incubation Officer and go-to resource for launching a successful food and beverage business. With an M.L.A. in Gastronomy from Boston University, Natalie has years of innovative experience working with supermarkets, culinary publications, consumer packaged goods companies, and food service establishments. She continues to play a valuable role in branding and marketing for food businesses around the country, with her specialty in trend forecasting.
Dani Zuchovicki is The Hatchery’s Membership and Community Manager. With a Culinary and Applied Food Studies degree from The Culinary Institute of America, Dani worked alongside James Beard Award-winning chefs, learning the ins and outs of the restaurant space. Being a part of The Hatchery’s Food and Beverage Incubator, Dani helps entrepreneurs launch and grow their businesses by go-to-market strategies for startups and curates their exponential growth.
Jess Feller is a Chicago-based entrepreneur and cocktail enthusiast who turned her passion for at-home mixology into Aged & Infused – a company creating all-natural alcohol infusion kits for the home bar. Jess is passionate about de-mystifying the cocktail-making process and helping folks craft better drinks come happy hour!
Nick Behr is the co-founder of Modern Sprout, a brand connecting people to plants thru thoughtfully designed products that deliver the benefits of plants to any space. Nick has experience in all aspects of the business from operations to sales to product development. As a former IT professional turned bootstrap entrepreneur Nick has worn many hats and worked many trade shows as Modern Sprout has grown. What started as a husband-and-wife business, is now a team of 50+ people, with more than 150 SKUs and a diverse portfolio of retail partners ranging from specialty neighborhood stores to national brands including Target, Nordstrom and Whole Foods.
