Hatchery Networking – January 2020

What’s Driving The Decade: Industry Trends with IRI, Datassential, and The Hatchery

New year, new decade, new trends! Join us for another exciting #HatcheryNetworking event! Our monthly Hatchery Networking events are a great place to meet entrepreneurs and other members of our community! You’ll always learn about an interesting trend or topic in the food industry, meet a member of The Hatchery team, and get to sample products from our Hatchery Entrepreneur members! This month we are excited to announce a look into what’s to come for the food industry with IRI, Datassential, and The Hatchery!

We will be bringing together these expert innovators and analysts to talk all things that have come and gone, and look to emerging trends that will be shaping the next decade. For those of you that didn’t make it to the Fancy Food Show, don’t worry! You’ll being hearing it first from the Specialty Food Association’s Leadership 2020 Vision Award Recipient, our very own expert, Natalie Shmulik.

About the presenters:

Along with an M.L.A. in Gastronomy from Boston University, she has a wide range of experience working with supermarkets, culinary publications, consumer packaged goods companies, and food service establishments. After successfully operating her own restaurant, Natalie was hired as a specialty consultant for one of Ontario’s largest supermarket chains where she enhanced consumer experiences through educational initiatives. Discovering her passion for innovation, Natalie was brought on as a brand strategist for the first cold brew tea company and later moved to Chicago to run The Hatchery Chicago. With over five years of food incubation experience, Natalie has gained a unique perspective on the industry and what it takes to launch and grow a successful business. She was recently featured in Forbes and continues to play a valuable role in branding and marketing for food businesses around the country, with her specialty in trend forecasting.
