Her career journey began in the heart of Miami’s local pizzerias and Chicago’s Italian restaurants, where she honed her skills in hospitality, business-to-business relationships, and community engagement. After a transition into teaching middle and high school students, Camila returned to the food industry, joining The Local Team at The Fresh Market as Category Assistant. Her diverse background and deep-rooted understanding of local flavors and community make her a key player in The Fresh Market’s growth and impact.
Emily Jones is the Retail Category Manager for Local at The Fresh Market. Starting with The Fresh Market 12 years ago, Emily brings both operations experience and a love for The Fresh Market values. Time spent in almost all roles in the stores, several years of private label buying experience for The Fresh Market brand and now working with local vendors all over the 22 states The Fresh Market resides in helping in curating and fostering the best relationships for our Local Program. A solid knowledge base in label requirements, experience with packaging details, distribution, and understanding in manufacturing efficiency. Emily is passionate about local brands, supporting communities, and loves great food!
