Walter Redmond “Red” Burnett was officially confirmed to Alderman of the 27th Ward on Thursday, September 25th, 2025. With a dynamic background in the private-sector, community engagement, and local economic development, he steps into this role with a stated focus on supporting small businesses, job creation, and equitable growth across the ward. ICNC welcomes this commitment and looks forward to supporting our new Alderman’s efforts.
