Alex Horton is The Hatchery’s Marketing Manager.
In her current role, Alex develops and executes creative initiatives that advance the mission of The Hatchery and facilitate growth for over 200 startup members – from marketing campaigns to participation in industry tradeshows.
A graduate of Boston College, Alex previously worked at FSG, a social impact consulting firm that helps corporations and foundations address society’s toughest challenges. In her role as FSG’s Communications Manager, Alex had the opportunity to learn about the complex problems our global community faces today—from income inequality to public health to climate change—and create solutions-oriented content for an audience of changemakers making progress on these issues.
Outside of work, Alex finds time to pursue her dual passions of food and positive social change through volunteering at Chicago’s Green City Market and concocting vegetarian feasts for friends and family.
