During his career Dave has managed operating companies, run food plants and consulted to leading global retail and consumer product companies in technology and supply chain strategies, brand growth and market positioning. He is a partner emeritus with A.T. Kearney, a global management-consulting firm. He lives in Chicago with his wife Karen.

Chef Manny Mendoza is the creative force behind Herbal Notes, a series of culinary cannabis experiences: dinner parties, brunches, workshops and a variety of collaborative events across the country, educating through the application of CBD into the dining experience. A priority is also working to understand and address the injustices affecting POC found at the intersections of race, capitalism, discrimination and the failed and destructive war on drugs. A native of the south side of Chicago, Chef Mendoza graduated from the Culinary Institute of America with supportive coursework in music, nutrition, and business. Chef Mendoza’s work is driven by the desire to help people understand mental, physical, and spiritual wellness through food & music. His mission with food and cannabis is the same: shared community, food equity, and cannabis as a natural medicine for all.
Bethany Gomez – Managing Director, Brightfield Group
Bethany has a background in quantitative and strategic research, specializing in the market research of the consumer goods industry. Prior to joining Brightfield Group, she worked with Euromonitor International, a leading CPG market research firm, managing the company’s syndicated research of industries such as packaged foods, alcoholic drinks, consumer health and tobacco in Mexico. She has also worked as an analyst and consultant on a wide variety of projects for private companies, nonprofits and multilateral organizations, including analyzing opportunities to leverage telecom to promote World Bank health initiatives and contributing to human resource strategic planning for the United Nations. Bethany holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin and a Master’s Degree from University of San Diego’s School of Global Policy and Strategy, focusing on Quantitative Analysis and Management.
As Director of Research, Bethany designs all of Brightfield Group’s products, both as custom research and syndicated research. She develops and defines methodologies and manages all projects conducted by the excellent team of analysts and data-scientists. Bethany works with clients to identify their needs and build customized solutions and work closely with our business development team to showcase our capabilities, build proposals and develop solutions for our clients and develop strategic partnerships with key players both inside and outside this industry.
Sarah Gillin: Co-Founder, Chief Operating Officer – Olli
Sarah brings to Olli over 15 years of experience working with luxury brands, with a special focus on marketing, brand development and event planning. With her passion for marketing, she produces compelling branding for Olli, while forming strategic business alliances and marketing partnerships. In addition to providing brand direction, Sarah works closely with the Olli team to manage and oversee all day to day operations of the business. Sarah holds a Bachelors of Arts degree from Dalhousie University, a post- graduate degree in Marketing from Parsons School of Design and an Executive MBA from the prominent Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto. Over the years, Sarah has overseen retail partnerships and collaborations with high-end local and international organizations and brands, including one of Toronto’s most exclusive and affluent jewellers. Having worked in both Toronto and New York, Sarah has extensive experience in luxury retail, event execution, refining brand identity and tailoring the client experience. Sarah is breaking down barriers for women in the cannabis industry, developing a compelling brand for entry-level cannabis curious to seasoned cannabis consumers.
