About the Moderator:

YJ Lin is the Senior Program Manager for Dell for Startups, a collaborating visionary who actively collaborates with communities to support thousands of startups and businesses each month. With a keen understanding of community building and strategy, YJ fosters meaningful connections and growth for organizations across the nation. Leveraging partnerships, YJ scales valuable resources and insights to create transformative experiences through tailored events and initiatives. Spending part of his time as an entreprneeur, YJ hosts the BYOBook Club and a captivating startup podcast, sharing insights and fostering collective learning to unlock human potential, and as a licensed Gallup CliftonStrengths coach, YJ remains dedicated to empowering individuals and organizations, helping them harness their unique gifts and talents for mutual benefit and enable stronger more connected ecosystems that drives human experiences.

 

About the Panelists:

The Creator of the Dell for Startups pitch Competition with over 10 years of tech experience, Tech Expert and visionary Marcus DeVane is the Sr Program Manager for Dell for Startups. With knowledge of multiple tech hardware vendors across the industry and digital transformation, his career has allowed him to be involved with a plethora of industries such as and not limited to, retail, healthcare, and SaaS. Marcus has spent time as a Field Account Executive educating business owners on new tech opportunities and exploring ways to transform their Cloud/data infrastructure. He is passionate about helping startups scale up through technology and welcomes all conversation whether it’s about what PC to purchase to how can I “own my data”.

 

Shelley Gupta is an experienced CPG executive, a philanthropist, and founder of BāKIT Box. Shelley began her career as a successful recording artist before transitioning to the world of business and finance. Managing a successful condominium development project in Toronto, she learned how to run a business from a young age. With her sights set on entrepreneurship, Shelley attended the U Chicago Booth School of Business for her MBA. After graduation, she gained hands-on experience as a Business Consultant for Accenture Strategy. Driven by her passion and talents in music, Shelley was compelled to volunteer her time to Chicago Based non-profit Guitars Over Guns RISE as President. Shelley’s background in music and her business acumen were the perfect creative combination to build the inaugural program and board of directors to mitigate gun violence risks across Chicago. In 2020, Shelley left Accenture to start BāKIT Box, a specialty baking kit company providing culturally diverse recipes for a unique at-home baking experience.

 

Rob Nordby is the Channel Sales Manager at Elo Touch Solutions. Rob has 13 years of IT channel industry experience with a focus in partner/alliance management. His previous companies include Insight, Zebra and currently managing NSP segment for Elo. Rob has expertise in data capture, POS and digital signage technologies. He is a big proponent of helping small businesses find the right technology for their needs, through a strategic partnership with Dell.

 

 

Dani Zuchovicki is ICNC’s Membership and Community Manager at The Hatchery. With a Culinary and Applied Food Studies degree from The Culinary Institute of America, Dani worked alongside James Beard Award-winning chefs, learning the ins and outs of the restaurant space. Being a part of The Hatchery’s Food and Beverage Incubator, Dani helps entrepreneurs launch and grow their businesses by go-to-market strategies for startups and curates their exponential growth.

 

 

About the Presenter:

Mobolaji Sokunbi is the Director, Alternative Routes to Market (ARM) for Dell Technologies Small Business in North America. Over the course of his career at Dell he has held key Sales, Digital Marketing and Merchandising roles across the Consumer, Commercial and Small Business divisions. In his current role, Mobolaji is focused on helping MSPs, Entrepreneurs, and Small Businesses thrive by identifying and equipping them with the right technology that will meet their business needs. Mobolaji has an MBA from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and a BA in Microbiology from the University of Texas at Austin. Outside of work, he is an author (co-authored The Nigerian Time Machine Activity Book), serves on the board of a couple of non-profit foundations and enjoys spending time with his family.
