About the presenter:
Mark Skala is a Hatchery Network Member, and professional video producer based out of Chicago IL, providing video content for clients nationally. Founder & Creative Director of Skalawag Productions, he is the leader of a small creative team that produces engaging video content for clients ranging from non-profits to national culinary events. His background includes a successful freelance career, as well as a 7 year stint as Lead Video Producer for Northwestern University’s Advanced Media Production Studio. He digs cheap gas station sunglasses, trying new things (but mostly food and drink), home brewing beer, and really good pho.
Skalawag Productions focuses on creating engaging content based around food & beverage, lifestyle, and education. We believe that the video production process doesn’t have to be so painful. Because the best stories, the best interviews, the best moments come from an environment where people are enjoying themselves, being creative, and telling a story.
